What a find...... not very often I give 5* all round but a last minute booking for our return journey home, following a trip to Shropshire to buy a motorhome. Wonderful dog friendly Inn situated in the pretty village of Usk. Very warm welcome on arrival buy a member of staff, who showed us to our spacious room in the attic of this lovely country pub. As we arrived early evening we got a well needed drink, before we were shown to our table. Food was amazing, excellent value for money and served by friendly attentive staff. Great night's sleep, with a continental breakfast provided in the room, small fridge even had fresh milk, fruit juices & yoghurt in. Highly recommended & if travelling again nearby wouldn't hesitate in booking again. Thank you.
Very nice pub in the heart of Usk, with good food and a nice choice of ales. Had the fish and chips - nice. Excellent cup of coffee. Nice garden at the rear. Would recommend.
Having had the pleasure of staying here before, this year we popped in to try the Sunday lunch,what a meal absolutely fantastic, more like a 5 star high end hotel, mouth watering, by the way the bar meals are just as good, thank you

Beautiful pub, great atmosphere. Had a long walk with the family and were all looking forward to a Sunday Roast. Unfortunately there wasn't a vegetarian Sunday Roast option so my family chose to leave so I could enjoy a roast with them. It wasn't a problem going else where but as a business 30% of the population are veggie or vegan and over 30% of the uks favourite meal is a roast dinner. It's a shame to lose the custom of 4 paying adults when roast potatoes, veg and a veg gravy would be an easy option to offer. Lovely staff and setting. I just believe you're tills would be fuller if you catered for everyone.
