Really friendly and helpful staff. We were made very welcome. Evening meal was home made and wholesome. Stayed over for a gig there by a friend. Good atmosphere. Room was spacious and well equipped if a little dated in its decor. Free parking close by and great location for exploring the town which has lots to offer.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed for one night as had to be up and about in Shoreham early in the morning. 10/10 service, thank you for being so friendly and understanding when we unfortunately checked in quite late. A very comfy bed and good night’s sleep, bathroom could benefit from a spruce up, but ultimately, for the price we paid and the location, we were absolutely thrilled, so thank you!
Went to meet a family member and chose this pub as photos indicated there was a kids play area in the beer garden. There was but it was absolutely awful. The limited equipment there was dirty and broken, and the grass was covered in dog poo, it was beyond grim. Decent pint of Meantime IPA to be fair but this wasn't enough to make up for the shocking state of the beer garden.
Charged 110 pounds for a very cold room and no breakfast. Was told 'We're not doing breakfasts at the moment ' thoroughly disappointed as we've stayed there before and had good service. Needless to say we won't be staying there againRooms: 2/5
Nice Fullers local, very handy for the railway station. London Pride was on top form & the pies are recommended! Some interesting local artefacts are on display.Service: 4/5
Very friendly staff fantastic atmosphere with a great DJ playing good music that I've not heard played by regular DJs really good evening hope they do it againService: 5/5
Had a drink in the large beer garden with the family and the dog it was sunny and we enjoyed it Walkability: It was close to the railway station .
Very tasty pork buns with chilli sauce, and vegan noodle dish. Ideal pick me up between a Graduation and dinner !
I had other expectations, but I guess that's my mistake. If you want to experience proper British pub for the first time, I can recommend this place I guess. Don't take my word for it, I haven't been in any pub all my life.
We stayed for 3 nights in one of their 6 letting rooms which was very comfortable. We ate in on our first night and had a really good meal, with a decent pint of ale too. There are outside tables both in the open and under cover along with 3 internal seating areas. The owner & staff were very friendly & accomodating.
