Good food with an original twist. The creamy cabbage with the slow roast pork was excellent. My partner really enjoyed the Golden dame burger.  The service was great and attentive. Liked the decor and atmosphere.

Lovely find. Beautiful building. Everything on the menu sounds fantastic, we had a hard time choosing because of this. What we picked was scrumptious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very impressed with their partnership with Independent Age where they offer Free Teas for Those in Need.

We had an excellent time. good food, good booze and excellent service. Young chap serving us was so attentive. If I am ever in York again I will visit 100% Also the best cheesy garlic bread all 3 of us had ever had!

Love this place. Fantastic brunch menu. We also tried the slow roast belly pork which was delicious too. Excellent quality, exceptional staff wouldn't go anywhere else!

Beautiful gem of a place. Food was delicious and despite me struggling a little to get the app working on my phone ordering during the covid measures were in place the staff were very helpful and our meals came quickly. Their tapas deals were also great and the decor makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Absolutely loved this place.  First of all, staff brilliant!  Attentive, polite... Just really nice service. Good to match. 100% recommended.
