The brunch is superb and the waiters are very welcoming. Although I was only here for a day and a half, I came here every morning to eat. The second time , my phone ran out of battery and they were kind enough to lend me the charger and look for the socket. Everyone is very welcoming and polite and makes you feel warm and fuzzy. And of course the food is delicious, especially the black pudding and creamy mushrooms! All in all, if you're in York, don't miss this place. Eat and have fun on your trip! Maybe it's close to the train museum! Once again I thank all the people at this restaurant
Wow, wow and wow! The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are the kindest and the food is phenomenal. Have been to a lot of places and struggle to think of somewhere that would top Robinsons Cafe for breakfast foods. We felt the portions were perfect and each meal was unique with amazing flavours. The sauces were just rich enough, eggs cooked to perfection, pancakes as fluffy as can be and sourdough had a beautiful crust.
Decided to try Robinsons on bishy road. We had a great brunch. The place was busy but we never felt rushed or had a long wait. We were given menus outside in the queue, so had decided what we wanted by the time a table became available. Would definitely recommend it and come back with the family.
A fantastic place for breakfast! You can tell it’s good as people were queuing in the rain! We took a table outside as we had our dog with us. The choices were enticing and could have had the whole menu! Instead we plumped for pancakes and sweetcorn fritters! When the food came, it was fresh and nicely presented! Particularly loved the flavours of the fritters with the kasundi nicely complimenting the dish! Will definitely return again to try the other dishes! It’s well worth waiting in the queue for!
Nice cafe. Good coffee. Great food and the service is speedy even when they are full. Clearly a firm favourite with the locals and tourists alike was recommended by our Airbnb!. The staff were great! This is one of the only cafes we found in York that actually had a decent baby change

A great place to grab some awesome breakfast. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a bit of a queue but definitely was worth the wait. The food is incredible and exceeded our expectations. Service is great and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely be visiting againFood: 5/5
First time visiting here, there are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options which was amazing to see. I went for the pancake stack with berry compote, syrup and cream, I went for the full sized option £10 which is 3 pancakes as the smaller option £8 is only 2. However 3 was loads for me so I ended up leaving some even though I went in really hungry! My friend had the smashed avocado and tomatoes on bread which she really liked as well. Was a lovely brunch. Toilet was also clean as well. Would visit again
Busy spot on the high street and if there’s a queue it’s fast moving! Great variety for brunch on the menu, I went for the pancakes which were amazing!!! There’s also a small car park 2 mins away which is cheap and convenient. Def recommend if in York!
Definitely one of the cafe in York. Foods are outstanding, staffs are friendly and helpful. I forgot my takeaway coffee on table and went back after a while. They made a new one for me. I LOVE ROBINSONS CAFE :
