The breakfast is consistently cold as they don't make the food to order. I got my traditional breakfast in about 2 minutes. It does sell very cheap beer and the coffee machine is great

Good food, good prices, good service. However often run out of ingredient on promotional nights.

Great atmosphere for a drink with reasonable prices. Lovely fire going and there's lots of space for groups to sit and chat. The only let down was that I went through a few drink choices before they had one I wanted. The barmaid was great though and very friendly.

This is not the Ritz, but if you want good food and drinks at an unbeatable price then this is the place. It is clean, well appointed, well designed, and has a spacious feel. For real ale fans there are normally plenty of guests beers on and if you ask the staff are usually happy to to let you try before you settle down to some serious supping.
