Story

A small, local and friendly restaurant situated in Ilkley, with an emphasis on French/European cuisine. The menus are strongly influenced by fresh fish and locally sourced meat from our suppliers Penny's and Inshore. This is supported by a well priced and balanced wine list. All provided with a relaxed informal style, with friendly and welcoming service.

If it's still like it was a year ago this is the most unlikely of incredibly authentic and tasty and wonderful French restaurants on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales that you could hope for!

I had lunch with my friends on Thursday and I was very disappointed with this restaurant. I ordered 2 courses from the daily special menu. My main was a Barnsley chop and I was going to have a dessert. The service was so slow (we waited 40mins for our food) that I was unable to have my dessert as I had no time. I was therefore charged the full price of £9.95 for one course. It was not my fault that I couldn't stay for a dessert. Also to add insult to injury my friend and I were charged £6.00 for a bowl of cabbage!! I would not recommend this restaurant unless you have plenty of time and money. And don't ask for a side order of vegetables.
