Excellent food. Loved the fish and chips. Service is a bit slow. But overall good place to have a drink with friends.
Second visit here. Nice pub/restaurant, but not too large. Staff friendly. Variety of drinks. Good food menu. Saw the chef this evening Saturday night. Spoke with him about the food on offer. A very friendly and pleasant young man. Food served was lovely. Would definitely recommend it.
I came with my boyfriend twice in two days, cause not only the meal had good ingredients, and it was delicious also they accomodated my Gluten-Free requests. Not to mention around hitchin there's not that many restaurants that sign which plates are or not gluten-free Thank you
A good pub, with a good selection of spirits. Menu looks pretty good as well.

Menu was not as advertised, so bill was higher than expected. Food was excellent, although you may need to be patient as it took a full 30 minutes to deliver 3 burgers when the place was quiet.
The bar area is clean and well looked after and the beer seems well enough kept. There are a few more interesting beers in cans behind the bar. They seem to specialise in food but are slow to clear plates from tables so when you arrive you might need to move aside the last person's plates. OK, but not a pub to rush back to.
Staff were welcoming. Food was really tasty. No complaints
