I visited this pub many years ago when attending court on behalf of my co in yorkshire great pub i remember poachers bitter was a £1 pint wow
Nice English pub
This is a great English pub where the locals go for cheap drinks. They only take cash, no credit cards are accepted. The restroom is really clean so it's an easy spot off the Hitchin town square to take a short break and relax or stay and have few pints. The locals even had a spontaneous Neil Diamond sing along while we were there.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, amazing prices, always a good night at the rose and crown and I love their karaoke nights! 11/10!
Great place, visited after a meal for works Christmas do. The odd thing was, when we turned up the bouncers were chucking someone back in the pub, after he had smashed glass outside... Oh well!

Im from st albans Hertfordshire and this is my new location on a friday night friendly staff great vibes dj is wicked with great sense of humour karaoke is first class great range and dj makes u feel very comfortable looking forward to this friday night
