Since the new owners took over, the pub is the best in the area. Food is excellent, I wouldn’t even call it a pub food, more like a great restaurant.nThe atmosphere is very friendly. Every guest is treated like a part of the family.nnThe kitchen is happy to accommodate our individual requests every time we need adjustments. The chef can be seen chatting with customers and taking their feedback.nnEvery day there is something happening - quiz, live music, car show, sushi day. Something for everybody.nnThe Sunday roast is the best I’ve ever had. Everything is cooked on site. Similarly breakfast, I can honestly say it’s the best in this area.nnThe place is also dog friendly.
We had a very warm welcome from the owner. The room is well set out,the bed was really comfy. We didn't have food here as we were going out to a party. The food did look and smell amazing. Great atmosphere in the pub,decent real ale options. Would definitely recommend the place to others.

We stopped by The Coachman today for pancakes as a treat as we saw it advertised on social media that they were offering pancakes all day as a pancake day special. The food, service and quality did not disappoint. The staff were so welcoming, the service was fast, portion sizes were great and the food tasted incredible. It is so great to see this local pub thriving again!
