We have just had a couple of nights stay on The Paddock in our motorhome and we didn’t want to leave. Lovely well kept site, clean facility, friendly staff. We are a family with a 4 and 5 year old and found the play area perfect. Having the shopping village at the site with an extra play area, some rides, pet shop etc kept them entertained and we would definitely return. There’s also a shop on site, but for anything they don’t have there is a 24 hour garage 5 minutes walk which was perfect for us in the motorhome!
Lovely family run site , very clean and tidy , have there own little village next to site to have a walk around with shops/cafe/bar & small fair ground , all staff polite and very helpful , would highly recommend a stay , thanks all
My favourite campsite of this kind, very well maintained, clean facility. Happy and attentive staff. Nice busy atmosphere without feeling crowded and the facility copes with it. Every pitch was taken when we were staying in February half term and I don't like crowds but it was fantastic. 100% come back.
Stayed for 1 night 18/09/25 & it was so nice.nEverywhere was spotless, the staff were friendly & helpful & the best part was the music playing in the toilets & showers. Loved singing along badly & dancing away whilst having a shower!!nWould definitely recommend
A Peaceful Stay at Blakemere Touring Park – Perfect for Families and Motorsport FansnnnWe recently stayed at Blakemere Touring Park while exploring Cheshire, and I have to say it was the perfect base for our family trip. The park is conveniently located just a short drive from Oulton Park Circuit, where we attended the Gold Cup weekend, so it couldn’t have been more ideal for us.nn The Park itselfnBlakemere offers fantastic facilities for families. We stayed in our 4-berth single-axle caravan, and it was absolutely perfect for the Euro-spec pitch we were on. The pitch was spacious, level, and well-equipped with electric hook-ups, water access, and waste disposal. The pitches are nicely separated by hedges, giving a sense of privacy without feeling closed off. It was also surprisingly quiet and peaceful, making it easy to unwind after a busy day at the races. The park is well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even better.nnIf you’re planning to bring along a dog, it’s also pet-friendly, which is a nice touch. Whether you're staying in a caravan, tent, or another setup, the park provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.nn The Visitor Center VillagenJust a short stroll from the park is Blakemere Village, a small yet pleasant tourist attraction with an old‑world charm. Although it’s a purpose-built village. It’s a lovely spot for an afternoon wander. annWe spent a couple of hours browsing the quirky little shops, grabbing coffee at one of the cafés, and even picked up a couple of handmade souvenirs. There’s something delightfully nostalgic about it, and it felt like a proper little escape without leaving the area.nn Nearby AttractionsnWhat really makes Blakemere Touring Park stand out, aside from its peaceful vibe, is how centrally located it is for local attractions. After spending the day at the Gold Cup at Oulton Park, we were able to come back and relax without worrying about a long drive. Blakemere Village is a bonus for those who want a change of pace from motorsport – it’s a great option for a quieter, slower day or just to stretch your legs.nnWe also took a short drive to explore the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, which is about 15 minutes away. The outlet offers a range of stores, restaurants, and even an cinema, if you fancy a family movie night.nn Overall VerdictnBlakemere Touring Park is an absolute gem. It’s a well‑kept, peaceful site with everything you need for a relaxing stay, especially if you’re heading to Oulton Park or other nearby attractions. It has a family‑friendly atmosphere, is pet‑friendly, and offers a quiet retreat after a busy day. The Blakemere Village is also a lovely place to explore and provides the perfect mix of local shops, cafes, and unique tourist attractions. Whether you're here for the races, a countryside getaway, or a simple family staycation, this site offers great value for money and a welcoming atmosphere.nnFive stars — highly recommended for families looking for comfort, charm, and proximity to major attractions like Oulton Park.
