Table of 8, all enjoyed the food. Was lovely apart from my pasta was slightly warm. Very good portion for the price. Looking through the menu found that the food was slightly different to other local pubs/restaurants which was lovely to see. Reasonable price for a double pink gin and lemonade as most places £10+ all in all would visit again

Location was ideal for visiting family, rooms simple but smart enough and very good value. Bathroom a tiny bit shabby but did the job.

I took my family there for a well overdue get together, my brother had steak, he compared it to leather, no problem sending it back, the waitress was lovely, problem was they did not take the other meals, back so my brother had his meal on his own, we complained that all meals should have been taken back as we were dining as a family,in the end, we gave up, and accepted free sweets, never go there again.

Typical uk lodge, old-looking, actually old... smelly, expensive if compared to service.
