Only stopped for a drink, but this was a lovely place. There were around 10 of us in our party & everyone commented on how nice The Coach House was. We said we'd definitely return for food next time. Great location & the staff had made so much effort with the Halloween decorations - was a lovely touch.
Dropped in late on a weekday January afternoon. We were welcomed immediately by the staff. The pub was cosy, clean and inviting. My husband’s pint of beer was first rate as was my large flat white coffee. We will definitely return.
We could not recommend the coach house high enough. The menu was fantastically different with real home made food. Desperate Dan pie was the best home made not bought in with one of those silly pastry hats steak pie. Our first visit but we're made to feel like family. What a find. We will be back
Highly recommended, Sunday roast lunch not to be missed, Plus the steak pie! Large portions, tender meat and fresh vegetables. Matched with great draught beers and very friendly staff.
What can I say, what a lovely village pub this is. We had a very warm welcome from the staff. A very good selection of well kept beers and other drinks. We had food which was well presented, plentiful and delicious. Rosedale Abbey is a very special place and this a very special pub.Service: 5/5
We were on holiday in a cottage very close by and we called in for a drink and to book a table for Sunday 18th September. I must be honest , I have never come across such a rude and abrupt bar person before. We were that disgusted with her attitude and rudeness that we left our drinks and did not go back the following day. She is one of the most obnoxious women we have ever met and should definitely not be working with customers, very surprised any people come to eat or drink there if she is serving, she is enough to put you off your food and drink....!!!!!!
Fantastical! Food is divine!! Beautifully cooked fish, amazing burger and the dessert be heavenly! Excellent portion size! Staff are friendly and happy to tweak dishes! Dog friendly too!Rooms: 5/5
Friendly pub, lovely staff, good food, nice selection of ales, great Sunday pub quiz. Oh, and you can take the dogs in!Rooms: 5/5
Excellent. Lovely location, nice tidy pub. Service top notch. Food absolutely delicious I can personally recommend the steak pie and sticky toffee pudding. Even the powerful hand dryer impressed me . Price wise, steak pie with chips and veg £15, bacon and cheeseburger with chips £11.
Booked in for Sunday lunch whilst staying here on a camping weekend. The food was amazing with good portions! Spoilt for choice! Manged enough room pudding that didn't disappoint either. Will definitely pay another visit in the future! We even stopped for a sandwich on the Friday and that was really.good value for money. Best food we have had for a while.
