Had a great stay here. Room really comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast really great . Good evening meals in the bar and best of all they have their own  attached brewery!!. Very  enjoyable too. Loads of parking AND  so much to do to cater for all  tastes. Will be back

Friendly welcome, delicious Yorkshire wraps, good ambience and great lager brewed on location. Recommend for a visit. Definitely need to book ahead to secure a table.  Ample parking.  Overall good choice of homemade food on the menu  including childrens food.

My wife and I were given a one-night stay here as a wedding present and it didn't disappoint. The food was really good traditional British pub fare, the room was comfy and it was dog friendly so our border collie got to join us. The best part was our friend who bought us the stay drove across from York to join us for a drink because we all love Yorkshire Cider and it's virtually impossible to get hold of at the moment. We told Michael this, so when she arrived and duly ordered a pint he started pouring it then pretended the cider was off, the look on her face was absolutely priceless!

I am writing this because Google reminded me that I had stopped here and asked me to write a review. Had been out for a walk in Cropton forest and saw the New Inn as we drove past. We did a quick u-turn and called in for a pint. I didn't really take a lot of notice of the pub because I just bought a pint and went to sit in the beer garden with the dog. Friendly staff, nice beer, I will have to go back another time and do some proper beer sampling so I can do a more comprehensive review.

A lovely, traditional country pub. A great place just to drop in and have a drink after a walk in the countryside. Warm, inviting, friendly staff, great atmosphere and a good selection of beers, a few of which are brewed on site.

was staying in the village for a few nights and frequented this pub a fair few times. Great little pub with excellent beers and the manager mike was great, always laughing and joking and made us feel really welcome. had the steak and ale pie one night and it was the best i have ever hadService: 5/5

Great meal and nice atmosphere. Afternoon sandwiches were beautiful and filling with chips a slaw sides. Nice outdoor seating and dogs welcome both inside and outside.

Excellent pub pet friendly accommodation great selection of real ales cider and spirits,  excellent food , we had deluxe double room with 4 poster bed ensuite  very clean and very cosy with coffee and tea facilities  fresh towels and hand soaps and shower gels . situated in back like a holiday cottage, staff very friendly too. Will definitely return in near future  thankyou  for the hospitality
