Went into the The Coach House bar yesterday with our Cockapoo, asked the waitress if it was OK to bring him in, and she said it was fine. When we got half way through the bar to get a seat, we were accosted by a man serving a table saying the dog is not allowed. It was very embarrassing, the man was rude and left the table he was serving to march us to the door to leave. I will NOT be returning, most bars in Pitlochry are dog friendly, so they are missing out and the man was just rude.
Traditional pub/diner/ hotel. We went in for a bite to eat so the review reflects only that aspect. The dining area is on the left hand side of the main entrance and it has table service point for that. However being an open space you are part of the busy check-in/out waiting lobby scenarios during the summer months. Probably in the winter much quieter moments to be enjoying your meal. The food: I opted for fish and chips £17.95 and I have enjoyed it as the fish was very fresh. The ribs and wings combo in bbq sauce £10.95 for 8 pieces was also nice but could have been served with a side plate. All accompanied by a bottle of Pinot Grigio £27. Overall the experience was nice.
Went to coach house for lunch not overly busy. We ordered steak and ale pie which the pastry was undercooked and gravy like water. Also ordered a burger which was not cooked properly. Informed waiting staff who took it away and got me a replacement, after half hour wait. Burger wasn't up to much and over priced for what they offer. Won't be back and should have went to the Mill across the road.
Had a great night with a live band and great company, with everyone out for a great night. The atmosphere was as good as it was the 1st time we went there a few years ago and was just as good with everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves , would highly recommend. Will defo be back soon.
Juan, Carolina and the rest of the team made us feel very welcome, and offered us fantastic meals which left everyone 6 very satisfied.Food: 5/5
Wonderful pub/restaurant for a quick bite and a drink. Certainly worth the effort. Very cute village with a variety of shops.Food: 4/5
Lovely little pub with nice sized outdoor seating area which is dog friendly, staff friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, big portions and seems to be good quality ingredients. Pricing very reasonable as well for the area, we went for late lunch and got seated no bother.
I visited for a night out, no food was had but the staff were great and the singer Vicki Park I think was absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to return.Service: 5/5
Lovely wee place situated in gorgous location in Pitlochry, very romantic lovely staff, but they took forever with our meals, were very very over priced £50 for two burgers and chips and two soft drinks very over the top, no need in a cost of living crisis, lovely place and scenery would we go again emmm, nooooFood: 5/5
Ordered Cullen Skink, only managed to find one small piece of fish in the soup. Was more just milk and potatoe soup with two comically small bits of toasted bread. Not worth the price tag.Food: 3/5
