I find the paying in of cheques at the Co operative Bank really troublesome. I cannot easily get to Chatham (my nearest branch) so I rely on the paying in envelopes and use the Post Office. My issue is that the Post Office do not hold spare envelopes, the Chatham branch do not hold spare envelopes and when I tried to order the envelopes using the "options menu" at the Co op on line banking service nothing happened! no envelopes arrived!! I eventually managed to speak to a customer services lady who has ordered me some today, but why do the post office not hold a supply? or the Chatham branch?? This is such an issue for me that I will definitely be changing bank imminently.

The cooperative bank branch in Chatham is so customer friendly and the staff very helpfull. We have been with them since we moved to Medway in 1970 and hope that this is not a branch registered for closure.
