Had a family birthday lunch on 26 October. Made very welcome and offered drinks and shown to our table. Sadly we were the only ones dining. Service was excellent as was the meal of venison fillet for 2 of us and chicken for the other two. All meals served on a bed of roasted vegetables and we were offered more green veg. Sauce with all meals was delicious. Dessert were also excellent and varied. Our table was in a sunny position overlooking the countryside. Altogether a special experience. Would highly recommend the Cliffe Hotel at Dinham.
Lovely hotel, staff very friendly..Eat an excellent meal in the restaurant. Nice quiet location, very relaxing. Will stay again.
We had a lovely Sunday roast here. The service was quick and all the food was delicious. There wasn’t really a comfortable area for sitting before/after the meal - like a ‘cosy’ bar area or anything. But everything else was lovely!
We had a night here with our dog and loved it. Our room was big and comfy. Breakfast was brilliant. We had an evening meal and couldn't fault it. Would definitely go again
We tried Sunday lunch. The location is very nice, just outside of Ludlow. First impressions, not a very cosy place, modern decor but feels very cold. On entering the front door you are confronted by the bar, we ate in the restaurant to the right, hard tables, hard floors, hard chairs. Just not a very warm, welcoming place. It needs some warm colours and some nice soft furnishings. Starter nice, salmon cured with lemon, roast beef for main with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables, ok but just luke warm which was a disappointment.
