Had a two-day stay and The Cliffe and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is great with nice views of the castle and good access to the town.

Food was exquisite and is highly recommended, and the service was prompt and professional.

We had a room on the second floor with nice views of the castle. Although the room was nice and warm, the en-suite was very cold. That's the only thing we can fault our, otherwise, very enjoyable stay.

We went for a meal and the food was excellent as always and the staff were very friendly. Thank you for a lovely time

We had just a basic double room (room 5) which is on the top floor (2 flights of stairs) which had great views up to the castle. The room is clean and a reasonable size, there is no shower in the bathroom but not a problem for us. Food is very good, with the evening meals of particular note.
There is plenty of parking space and it's in a very quiet location, with about a 10-15 walk to the castle/top of town. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed Sunday lunch here with a fantastic jazz band. Atmosphere nice and relaxed, staff friendly and food to die for! Quite simply the best Sunday roast we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Thank you!

Excellent place to stay if you're visiting Ludlow. Town centre is easily walkable and there's a roadside footpath for most of the way.
