The Cheshire County Sports Club

I use the facilities to play Chester Table tennis league matches. I have used this for the past five years and supported the bar and staff there. Recently they cut the hours we were allowed to play from 8pm til 11pm down to 8.15 pm to 10.15pm. This means we are always rushing to finish our matches and having to play two matches on different tables at the same time which takes all the enjoyment out of our matches. The staff have no idea and start putting equipment away during our games which is very distracting. Once, we finished a cup match early at 9.30 and went for a drink at ghe bar only to be told it had stopped serving. We have approximately 24 players there at any one night but they treat us like 2nd class citizens. The Badminton players feel the same as we do. Although we have complained, nothing get changed. Next season we are moving to a venue that appreciates the income we generate and that time can't come quick enough. I would not recommend this place to anyone who plays sport and enjoys a drink afterwards.

Good venue and staff are very friendly. I would recommend more lighting outside and requires more accessibility for visual impaired and blind people.

Went to query a running group that they knew nothing about. Told me I had the wrong place, then the organiser 9f the group walked in, lucky I'm persistent otherwise would have left believing their first response.

Held my granddaughter's christening party here on 7/1/2017. The room we hired was spacious, for the 60 guests with enough room for the children to have a run around. We used the in-house caterers for the food which couldn't be faulted, plentiful and fresh. A big thank you must go to Debbie and her team who worked very hard to accommodate our needs, all done with smiles on their faces, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend without hesitation.

Unbelievably disrespectful with no loyalty to customers! I've played at the County Offices for 8 years with a group who have held the same booking and time slot for 25 years! The commitment and loyalty of this group of people has been exceptional and should be recognised and rewarded. Unfortunately this is not the view of The Cheshire County Sports Club when they give away our usual time slot of 18:45-19:45, only offering 20:45 - 21:45, AKA the graveyard shift, which is of no interest and quite simply impractical. I recommend you consider other venues first if looking for somewhere to make a regular sporting event with friends or as a club.

Good sporting facility and friendly staff. There are six badminton courts with good lighting. Car parking is sufficient and spaces can be found even during busy days. Recommended.
