Been a few times in the past. As good as remember. Very good menu very well delivered both in terms of the food and the service. The bar is great with good selection of beers. On a couple of walking routes so a good end of day call in as well as fine evening dinning. Booking for the later may be advisable. Have been a number of times before and will be going again. Thank you to the very pleasant Pheasant.

We always eat here when in the area. Very relaxed atmosphere; dogs on the floor, lots of waterproofs, open fires. Hearty, well-cooked food and good selection of well kept ales and wines.

Great little pub, just outside Keswick. Was already getting busy at 6pm on a Wednesday evening. Good selection of beer and food was fantastic, including the childrens meals.

Called in one Thursday evening for a drink as was working in the area. Ended up having about 5 pints of glorious ale and the best guinea fowl One has ever tasted. Lovely setting, friendly staff, an all round perfect country pub. Will definitely be back.

Called in for a drink one Friday night when staying in Keswick. Very busy inside as it's a popular place, staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of drinks and looking at the various meals being served to a full house you can see why it's such a popular place.
