I came here twice 4 years ago. Went again today for the first time since then and the verdict is exactly the same. Food good (as is the coffee) but the portion sizes are way too small. Nice ambience it being a nice day, but food wise, for the £ you pay, they need to fix those portion sizes.

Clean, spacious and inviting, offering a selection touching the obvious bases and mild diversions at 'realistic' prices. Oodles of atmosphere here. In fact, like for like, this can compare favourably with ANY similar 'park' venue in London... believe me, I've seen plenty.

They have a good variety of excellent food that is sought after at lunchtimes. Friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist. We are regular visitors at weekends.

Sadly this place has priced itself out of my good books. The cakes are nice, staff and great; ethically they are doing some good stuff; however their profit margins are clearly number one. For a cafe that serves the local community and plays on that too I would expect prices to be slight higher than the norm but £5.50 for sausage sandwich (x2small sausages drowned in two very large slices of bread) is a joke. 10p for a take away cup that’s recyclable and a very reduced menu from what they used to serve makes it a disappointment. They’ve now opened up a small shop on the right where the children’s area used to be.

Delicious, good quality food and a friendly atmosphere. A lot of the food and drink is organic and Fair Trade, and there are a few tasty vegetarian options on the menu. The décor's great too. Large, wooden and open plan. They even have a quiet room where you can get away from the noisy families, or you can sit on one of the benches outside.
