Came here as part of a driving course, so naturally we come across some very obscure and out of the way places. This particular one is a hidden gem in the English countryside, lovely staff here that welcome you at the front door warmly. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is gentle allowing a quiet conversation. Table service and a wide variety of options. This place would be absolutely lovely for a summer venture as the grounds are delightful, however we came on a raining day. Also half price for emergency services and military on their soft drinks.

We just popped in for a quick lunch on a lovely sunny day. The setting is very nice, particularly on such a nice summery day as today. Service was quick, helpful and friebdly. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty, would definitely recommend!

Lovely setting and the breakfast quality was excellent. Friendly staff too. Will definitely be returning. It's a hidden gem this place!

I had a lovely lunch with my grandson at the café. The food was well presented and enjoyable. It was a lovely way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. Thank you all the Staff at the café by the Lake
