It's okay, nothing more nor less. Food doesn't live up to the standard of the Giggling Squids I've been to else where. Which is a shame, as this brand use to be one of my favourite Thai places. If you asked me, would I recommend it, I would say no. There are nicer places to eat. The food itself doesn't taste fresh, either the food is prepared a while in advance or it's frozen? I'm not sure. I've been to this particular restaurant a couple of times (out of love for the brand) and I have to say this isn't a one off.

Went with a group of 11. All were served together and everyone was very happy with their meal. Service was good and atmosphere was relaxed. We didn't feel any pressure to leave once we had finished eating. I would go there again although the prices would stop me going on a regular basis.

Nice restaurant in a lovely setting and food was good. (more on that further down). Service was polite but very impartial and more what you would expect from getting shoes repaired than from a dining experience. Macdonalds are better if I'm honest. Adding 10% to the bill is just a way of doubling profits exponentially and I doubt it goes to staff (or customer service training). My son had beef and spent the night throwing it back up!

The Giggling Squid is a nice but functional Thai Restaurant; nothing stands out as amazing. The atmosphere was okay (apart from the sound of hundreds of glass bottles being binned in the kitchen which filled the restaurant), the food was okay, the layout was okay. Everything was middle of the road - not exceptional nor bad. So if you want an ok Thai meal then pop along to here.
