No nonsense real ale pub. Does what it says on the tin. Good selection of real ales and ciders, but it does not serve lager! Excellent scotch egg and pork pie selection available. Very friendly for humans and dogs.

Great quality and choice of real ales & ciders & other beverages are available. The pies, scotch egg varieties & vegetarian food is also excellent! Thoroughly recommend a visit 😊

Great little place. Very well managed by Lee and always a cracking pint. Plenty of choice too.

"Lager isn't served here." so says a sign as you enter the bar which has eight beers and another eight ciders and perrys on tap. And on tap means, literally that - no hand pumps, just taps in the kegs. Camra discounts and the gents running the bar look like they know or thing about the beer (being rather rotund in nature). Dogs also welcome as long as they behave themselves.

Fantastic choice of real ales ciders and perries. Great meat pies and veggie options. Dogs friendly. Camra winner for local area.
