Searched for Motorhome pub stopover and this came up. What a find. Glorious setting, enchanting building, relaxing timeless atmosphere coupled with a top quality varied menu and a good selection of wine and drinks. The icing on this wonderful cake is the charming professional and extremely attentive staff who were faultless. We won't need many excuses to go back here on a regular basis for sure.
A truly stunning weather day … ideal for a short strut along the glorious River Test and lunch at the Bush Inn. Very friendly helpful staff, dog friendly and an idyllic pub garden. This is a beautiful pub. Especially after a walk along the River. Lush Beer Garden, lovely food, wonderful staff, Wadworth 6X.......Heavenly Parking: Yes, there is a carpark. Wheelchair accessibility: Its wheelchair accessible.
Very nice pub and restaurant in the heart of a magnificent country side view! The pork and the beef was an excellent choice for us. I congratulate the whole team!
Really good pub actually. Countryside pubs can be a lottery but this is a good one. Friendly staff. Cosy fire. Good menu. The Wadworth 6X beer is lovely. Only missing a star as the burger wasn’t a great main. Bit small and dry. And originally came out without bacon or relish or salad. Everything else was delish
Only pub or place within walking distance from my house... So I have been there many times. I've never been let down on food, service or atmosphere. Beautiful location next to the river. I do miss the buffalo burger....Food: 4/5
Amazing food and fantastic staff who were very cheerful and polite! Would definitely recommend.
Lovely place to eat, it was still warm enough to eat outside, the garden area is well kept with plenty of tables. Staff were very attentive & polite. Food was delicious, i had the roast chicken, unfortunately we didn't get to try the puddings as the kitchen was overwhelmed & we weren't able to wait 30 mins due to other commitments, but will definitely visit again.
Really enjoyed our visit, service was first class, so well organized, a good menu choice and food was delicious, and a lovely spot by the river itchen
What an outstanding pie, kudos to the chef for nailing the filling and pastry, steak and ale of the very highest standard. Great location to take advantage of local walks along the River Itchen, beautiful setting and scenery, and the warmest of welcomes from all the staff, can thoroughly recommend.Food: 5/5
