Excellent pub for late night drinks and a game of pool or 2..

Saw a lovely band with my husband on Friday night, and the security kicked him out for "not drinking" he had just finished a drink and was going to buy another, however the terrible treatment he received forcing him to buy a drink right then or to leave, made him want to leave, when I spoke to bar staff one was shocked and apologised, and said she had just served him 10 minutes earlier, the bar manager was less than apologetic, saying he was in his rights to kick him out, and even called him over to get his side of the story, he agreed with everything I had said and said he had kicked roughly 30 people out that night, I even asked why he hadn't kicked me out, as I stayed after he gave my husband the boot, as I love the band, I drank less than he did and had been in the pub much longer than him, he had no comment, when asked am I happy I said no I accept this is how you run the pub but, I feel that is a terrible way to do business and she tried to further explain their unusual methods, I added on an average gig night we spend roughly 50-70 on drinks we only got as far as 7.50 and stopper spending as the "welcoming atmosphere" was all too much never go here unless you are willing to non stop drink or are a women weird place finish staff stank like faeces and vomit absolutely disgusted!!!!
