Had a takeaway when on holiday. Reasonable prices. Tasty food. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was mainly batter. The quantity of chicken was very small. Staff polite and quick to get cooked around 10-15minutes. Cash only!
The service here is disgraceful. Drove a 30 minute round trip to collect a large order for a family of 9. Got back and we were missing a sweet and sour chicken balls from our order. We rang back to be told that we hadn’t ordered them. When then giving them a name for the order they agreed that we had in fact ordered them and proceeded to tell us that they “didn’t know what we had done with them”. They refused to refund us by bank transfer or to deliver the missing item. The girl on the phone seemed to think it was ok as we had all eaten. She believed that when we got home and realised it was missing we should have driven back with all the food to prove the item was missing. Eventually I was given the option to collect the missing item however by this time I wasn’t prepared to do another 30 minute trip to collect them as it hadn’t been our mistake. When I showed my frustration I was told to “calm down” and that I was “ a very rude lady”. I asked to speak to a manager to be told there wasn’t one. Will not be using them again.
Genuinely confused. After seeing more than enough good reviews thought id give it a go, food barley warm , very bland sweet and sour sauce had no sweet n sour to it. Chips either cooked 3 hrs before pick up or microwaved very dry. Shame we waited an hour and were really disappointed just bland chow mein sloppy. Wouldn't order again. Shame
Been wriggling with food poisoning all evening Prawn balls were soggy dough. Sweet and sour sauce fermented. And my greasy noodles were put in the bin with everything else. Wish I ate a sandwich and saved myself the stomach pain. Disappointing is an understatement.

Phone to place an order for collection, got told will be an hour so the husband goes to collect after 1 hour to be told its not ready come back in 20 minutes as we are busy, we get the food it was room temperature, prawn crackers was soft, the meat in the curry was very chewy, safe to say this was our first time using this Chinese and will be our last!! If I could give zero stars I would of!!!

The phone never stops ringing the guy answering it know his menus prices and who orderd what,calm under pressure! Food is always good and freshly cooked for your order! Have used loads and will keep using!
Wasn't impressed by the food especially the Hong Kong style chicken it is meant to be sweet and sour sauce but it just tasted of tomato sauce I couldn't eat it. The chow mein was soggy. The only thing that was OK was the rice and prawn crackers. Would not recommend.
Best Chinese takeaway in England in my opinion. My favourite is the spicy peppery chicken. Mouths watering just thinking of it the owner is very kind and always smiling.
