worst food we ever had in our entire life. we are Indians from Bengal, even Bangladeshi foods are really tasty. they just don't know the receipe and what to cook. each and every food was disgusting, we couldn't had any even as Indians and it completely ruined our dinner. spent 50 GBP for for dinner and it was complete waste. never ever waste your money to have food from this restaurant even tou are hungry. look for some alternatives.
Awful!! Food took 1 and 1/2 hours to be delivered to our table and one of the meals was cold!! Fizzy drinks were flat and just terrible service. It’s a shame because the take aways we have had have been lovely, this time let us down.
Do not eat food from this toilet of a takeaway We ordered a meal for four people....never again. The “lamb “ smelt of fish , the chicken tasted of pork , they even managed to make the rice look like porridge!!! Not looking forward to the next 24 hrs.
Went here on first night of our stay. Reviews were so so but thought we would give it a try. The interior was ok at first glance but the more I looked as we waited for our food the more I saw that was worrying. The skirting boards are dirty, the carpet is old and there is a General outdated feel. However, there were a few reviews stating the food was good so I let it go. The popadoms and dips were tasty but the ,ain course was dire, me and my mom both had the lamb tikka masala, the lamb was chewy and the sauce tasted like it was out of a tin. The kids only ate the rice as they didn't like the rest and it cost us £45. The waiting staff were lovely, service couldn't be failed but that's the only upside. It may be because we are from birmingham and so have been to some amazing curry houses but this was just below par.
3 of us went on New Year's Eve. Food excellent and staff were attentive and polite. Also good value. Decor a little tired if you are picky but that didn't matter to us. Will def return.
Have used this Indian take away for years and honestly imo its the best in the area. We normally collect but you can sit in and if your in luck they will deliver. Tasty with good portion sizes. Not expensive . 100% recommend.
My order was incorrect for takeaway and couldn't be changed as i drove half an hour to pick it up. Was given jalfrezi sauce with both chicken and lamb, when I specifically ordered lamb rogan josh. Also, the lamb was most definitely not lamb, it was mutton! Not impressed at all , and it was super expensive for what we got!
We visited Ilfracombe for a holiday but I was dying for an Indian I was a bit dubious after some of the reviews but went for it anyway. I had a lamb pathia which is probably one of the nicest I have ever eaten and I live in the Midlands balti capital after Bradford and have tried many different places. My partner and kids also had a chicken korma and a chicken tikka masala between them we had pilau rice keema naan chips and Peshwari naan or were lovely as well we will definitely use again when we return next year.
Had a curry from here tonight 04/06/18 the curry was the worst I've Eva seen or put To my mouth in my life it was so watery it slide of my plate rang the restaurant back up told them my exsperience and all he said was sure . Then rang me back 40 mins later and said he spoke to kitchen and there offering me a free meal in the future I asked for a refined and he declined . This company is a total rip off . Out to con
Service was good. Food was served in good time. The food was reasonable. I enjoyed my dish but not everyone at the table was so enthusiastic.
