We like The Broadway Hotel very much. We have stayed here a few times over the years. Convenient for us to visit Family in Lower Stondon and trips into London, as train station is on the doorstep. Rooms are big, comfortable and warm. Staff are very friendly, chatty, welcoming and work very hard to ensure us a enjoyable stay. Only criticism is the lack of plug sockets - would've liked a socket either side of the bed and also another by the dressing table for own hairdryer and straighteners. Bedroom view looked over Letchworth town, so nice. However, quiet noisy, late night, early morning car and lorry noises driving past. Deliveries to Hotel early morning. Didn't sleep well really over our week stay, no long lies, or afternoon naps, so was a bit tired for 450 mile car journey home.

Stayed at the broadway as part of an air show weekend. Overall a great place to stay. The room was clean and had all that we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly and location was ideal. Food in the bar was delicious and was surprised to find goulash on the menu! Would recommend the goulash! The hotel could do with a bigger car park but this is an obviously difficult improvement to be made. The shower in the bathroom of our room was also centrally mounted and would be better mounted at the end of the bathtub. Overall a great place to stay.

We had our daughter’s wedding in Las Vegas and the UK wedding reception in, The Broadway Hotel ball room and had approx twenty people stay overnight. Over the years we haves and stayed in the hotel and used the function room which normally has room for approx 150 people. We were fortunate enough to book a family room which was roomy and had a large double bed and a single. Although the room was basic it was exactly what we wanted which was somewhere to get ready and somewhere to sleep. Some of our party booked a standard room which faced to the rear of the building and definitely didn’t like it especially after seeing our room! The reception went great, with brilliant staff behind the bar and the catering staff made sure that there was plenty of food at the buffet. The whole event was overseen by Katie the manager who ensured that all our needs were addressed.

Staff were lovely, food was nice, good price point. Rooms basic but fine, could do with better lighting.nGlasses in restaurant were dirty/marked and one was cracked.nAll in all, a good place, thank you

Met a friend for dinner, Saturday night - restaurant was busy but not too loud and there were quieter areas to side a little out of the way.nDinner was lovely; sausage and mash, followed by apple and blackberry crumble - my friend had the beef burger followed by cheesecake…. Both meals were spot on! Am looking to book again soon.
