Friendly staff, but unfortunately the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The chips were soggy, felt a bit undercooked and not crispy at all felt like it has sat in the serving container for a while, didn’t seem fresh; it was also not cut properly. The overly battered fish was overcooked you can see the colour is more towards brown than golden, it was a hard crunch rather than crispy this was being tasted straight after collection from the shop. The price for its portion is also not worth it, sadly won’t be returning.
Lisa was welcoming with a smile and friendly throughout my order, assisted me to pick which promotional voucher to use and use again on return. My appreciation for a pleasant service.
As always, the food was excellent and freshly cooked to order. The on duty staff today were Richard and Lisa and both were very friendly and welcoming... they certainly made me smile while waiting for my food to cook. I don’t live in the UK so I only get to visit Letchworth a couple of times a year, but when I do I always make one of my very first stops the Deep Blue fish and chip shop in Letchworth. You can’t beat a traditional British fish and chip shop and in my option they don’t come much better than this one!
I had a delivery. Cod, chips, saveloy a curry sauce and 2 cans of pop. It cost me £30! Yet there was barely any chips and what we did have were burnt, stale and cold. Disgusting will never order again.
Excellent tasting food with brilliant service. Gluten-free options are amazing and tasty. Jack took our order and was very warm and welcoming. Jack was helpful. Mark cooked the fish to perfection and the chips were also cooked to a great high standard. Delicious experience and servce and these boys are an absolute asset to your company.
First time trying food from here today. Very impressed. Tables outside made the experience all the better, eating fish’n chips in the sun.
Best fish and chips we've had for a long time. Perfectly cooked fresh to order by Richard and served by Paris. 10/10 for the food and friendly efficient service. We'll be back!
Been at work till late and just fancied some chips. Got there around 45 mins before closing time. Asked for a snack size portion of chips and a normal size. Got told there was literally just enough to give me. Took them home and they were hardly warm and very dry. Quite disappointed and ended up throwing them away
Great experience. Jack served me, i ordered fish, sausage and chips for myself and family it was a large portion and very delicious the curry sauce was amazing Thanks for the great food and service deep blue
The chips are nice, but frankly far too expensive and small a portion to warrant my return. The staff were friendly, but left my dad waiting too long before dishing up the chips there were two members of staff, the chips were ready cooked and there was no one being served before him, but it was a five minute wait before he was served.
