Story

The Brit Pub is a proper country pub with cosy log fires, a choice of 5 real ales as well as guinness, cider, and a selection of wines. Good home cooked food and accommodation aimed at cyclists and walkers enjoying the Afan valley. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and somewhere to enjoy a good beer and have a good chinwag with your friends this is it. With quirky yet stylish decor and an elegant dining area. There is also a beer garden which is set against the backdrop of the beautiful Afan river.

Fantastic stylish place with an excellent menu catering for vegetarians and vegans alongside an excellent conventional menu. I was very impressed with the lavish gin menu! Interestingly decorated with a beautiful outdoor area alongside the river. Only thing to note is there is no baby changing or high chairs available. Highly recommend!

Good food. Fantastic service. Lovely place to relax on a nice Sunday afternoon. Dogs are allowed in the pub, with nice outdoor area to enjoy the scenery. There is a disabled toilet on the premises. However, the access to the toilets is not wheelchair friendly. A little step through the door and not much space to get a wheelchair through.

The perfect pub! Love the look of the place it’s cosy with its own personality. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is fantastic. Good value and some great beers. We’ve been a few times with work clients and always have an enjoyable experience. It’s the only place in Port Talbot that we would visit for food.

A must visit. Excellent home cooked, tasty food. Lots of options and not just your usual pub fare - a cut above. The service is impeccable and very friendly. A nice range of beers spirits (especially gin) too.

So been finding it hard to get good food on hols here. Went to the outlets mc Arthur Glenn, which were okay but not like Florida or Canada outlet malls. Needed lunch after and came across the Brit pub 20mins away, and was worth it. Lots of beers and ciders, food was good. Kids enjoyed it, no kids menu but can have smaller adult dishes. Also dogs allowed. Definitely worth trying.
