Not the best looking resteraunt granted, but you should never judge a book by its cover. The 12oz sirloin off the specials board was simply superb. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Friends had 16oz gammon which looked impressive too.

Generally good/great food and nice locals. Atmosphere is a bit lacking if you're not in a group. Have been going for years when I'm in Cwmafan, but on the last visit, I was disappointed with the service from the kitchen. Good prices.

Rude bar staff. Came to see a friends family members band play in the villagers, but because 2 of the people that was with was 17 (not drinking alcohol, not asking to get served and also no problem at all) we was all asked to leave (rudely) as to no ID but if we had food they was able to stay (makes no sence). P

This place is great for food. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always amazing. We often come here when they have bands on and the atmosphere is always great. Highly recommend this place
