Stopped by this place for a quick lunch between museums and I'm really glad I did!! I...
First time here... And loved it. Easy going bar with plenty of space, excellent selection of craft beers. Food is amazing, and we happily played Jenga for an hour or two... Definitely on my list to go again. Food: 5/5
3.5 stars. The wait for our food was very long and the service was just ok. The fish was tender but it was okay. The fries were decent as well. They were out of the nachos, sweet potato fries, and curry which was unfortunate. The burgers were good though! and the ambience was nice.
As opposed to some reviews here, my experience with the place was fine : we stopped by for a drink after a day trip from Howth since this place is near the Connolly dart station. I think that they have a decent selection for drinks. Love the ambience.. they play music but it wasn’t that loud that you have to shout to each other. It was just a perfect balance of dark and light where you can sit and comfortably chill. There were not a lot of people when we were there on a Saturday evening. Didn’t try the food so couldn’t say anything about it. I think another good thing about the place is it’s just across the Busaras LUAS stop. Cheers
Pleasant enough, very quiet during the day and good selection of music. Waited half an hour for a ham and cheese toastie and the beer was over £6, but guess that’s normal in Dublin. Enjoyed both.
Really brilliant food, it was all divine. Adored the hot sauce. The music was really good too.Food: 5/5
Not a bad spot. Very quiet during the day. Two floors. Old school chairs and wood tables. Simple decor. Good selection of beers and drinks. Service very good and friendly. Ladies toilets upstairs and gents are downstairs. No Guinness though. Perfectly placed for Connolly Station
Love Dublin but Roscommon is my home Recommended dishesSpicy Chicken Wings, Fish & Chips, Chicken Burger, Sweet Potato Fries
No salutations, eye contact, interaction or interest. 4 adults, 2 kids looking for dinner & drinks seat ourselves downstairs as the place is empty the day after St P’s day and the staff can’t be bothered so we relocate upstairs. We’d rather be In Belfast than this Dublin pub. We left after 15 minutes. The menu looked promising, maybe only locals are served.
Called in for dinner on a recent Tuesday. Just one barman on duty, having his ear bent by a talkative punter. Perhaps as a result our food order got mixed up, the chips didn’t arrive and the “large” chicken tenders were decidedly small. When we asked about the missing food, we were told that the kitchen had closed. The toilets were a bit manky. The beer was nice but I couldn’t make up for everything else.
Abysmal service, sub par food and impressively rude staff. The wings were undercooked and the blue cheese wasn't that. The waiter needed to be followed to the bar and talked through how to use the computer, by the patron. Patrons were expected to wait, serve and bus their own tables. Music that was edgy in the late 90s was so loud that when staff couldn't heat patrons or patrons couldn't hear staff they spoke quieter as though this would help improve communication.
