Nice restaurant for pub food. We ordered nachos and fried brie for starters. The brie was delicious! For main, we had burger and fish and chips. Both were tasty. Service was also good but the kitchen closes super early, at 8pm, and the waitress did not let us know about that in advance. We only found this out when we asked for desserts!
What a casually classy spot. The place was busy always a good indicator We both had a turkey & ham vol u vant and I have to say it was the tastiest ever. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The mash gorgeous too. Also have to say the staff are very professional, friendly and attentative. There's a great cocktail menu here featuring many of the classics. I like the lay out of the place too. Ideal for parties. The decor is fabulous. Highly recommend coming here.
Great food and atmosphere. We had stew with Gunness and fish chowder and are amazing. Baileys cheesecake is a must, too. Had my first Guinness pint here with my meal
Very elegant former banking hall which is now a fabulous grown ups venue serving cocktails, Guinness other alcoholic beverages are available for the uninitiated and a very tasty food menu. The staff were brilliant with our party of 12 and service was swift and easy. Most of us went for the obligatory pint of Guinness and a bowl of succulent Irish Lamb Stew. Good sized portions and succulent melt in the mouth lamb was an absolute delight. We enjoyed the vibe so much we went back later in the evening to finish the night with a couple of espresso martinis sophisticated bevvy sesh indeed Great venue, I highly recommend it to all.
Very nice pub. Great atmosphere and good food. Go there early for fish and chips as they get sold out pretty quickly
Ahhh lads here . Everything was crossed off the menu . When we finally got served it was an undercooked ham and cheese toastie .. wasn't expensive But I got tea and a dirty cup gin glasses could do with extra rinse aid And a wash . A bit disappointed tbh
Beautiful, vintage style venue. Always great food and service. Love
Genuinely has potential to be a lovely cafe/bar on O'Connell street. Really nice waiter and table service, however the place has very little atmosphere, toilets are terrible, other patrons leave a lot to be desired. Overall, could do with a massive spruce. Doesn't seem to know of it's a relatively high class gastropub, nightclub, or late night tourist bar.
Always stop here for a drink when going out in Dublin. Lovely atmosphere. Great food and quite cheap too. Very nice staff and very clean place. Nice place to watch the big sports events too.
We had a fantastic experience at the Grand Central restaurant. The food was hot and excellent! The service was friendly and attentive. And the Guinness beer, tasted as if we were at the Guinness factory!
