JW Sweetman Craft Brewery
"This old hostelry of liquid culture is steeped in the annals of Dublin’s licensed history. As Burgh Quay expanded commercially in the early 1800s both the demand and opportunity for sustenance and hospitality services became a necessity. In that year James Rickard negotiated a long lease with the landlords and set up business here as a Spirit Dealer and Fish Factor. Next door at no. 2, Julia Maguire ran a canvas, sacking, rope and hemp business that was in constant demand from the ships berthed at the seawall.Today, this old beacon of antiquity has been transformed by publicans John and Robert Mahon, who have revitalised the spirit of the old house."

This place is beautiful! The bartender we had at the time didn’t seem so friendly, lol. Long night, maybe.
Very nice place for some drinks and very nice food. We came here as a group of 6 and I pre booked the place to assure us a table. We were welcomed very nicely by the staff. The served us some great food and we enjoyed few pints. Great staff so thanks to all for great service. Music was nice as well. I would recommend to come around for nice pub atmosphere and not too crowded place.
Great place to be at right at O'Connell Bridge.... Pretty huge place and can accommodate good number of people without crashing each other's glasses. Like I said to my friend last night, if I was with a group of people would go elsewhere music is too loud and you can barely talk, but really a nice place to be and chat with your friends/ colleagues with some drink and music or on a date too. It's approx 3-4 storey with open rooftop and has bar on every floor almost... Staff is polite & smiling even when they were on verge of closing Not being there for the first time , will definitely suggest a place to go. : :
Stopped in for dinner after our day tour. I got the whiskey chicken, while my wife got the bangers and mash. Very good! Had their stout...it was a craft brew Guinness! Definitely worth a stop if you are into craft brew.
Absolutely banging pub, the irish stew was On Point, and the folk covers being knocked out live were a joy too. Brews it's beer on site, and the decor is incredible. Defo recommend.
Surprisingly large 3 storey pub on South side of River Liffey with a large number of beers on tap, including many of their own. Due to COVID-19, some are not in production e.g., their weissbier. Fireplaces for when you're cold and The Rising Room on the second floor to get your Irish up. Reasonable menu with friendly servers.
Great food, the platter was more than enough for two hungry people. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would recommend the sweetpotato fries and garlic bread as sides. The cider was nice too
Very good place, great staff! The food was amazing, I will never forget that lamb shank. We were placed on a table at the window with a great view! We'll definitely come back :
The prices and service are simply on par with several other places nearby. The interior though...astonishing. Mix od 18th century looks with classic pub and disco ball? You got me there. Really worth a visit!
Everything we ordered was good, especially the Gaelic whiskey chicken! Friendly service as well. Would definitely return.
