Really lovely restaurant in Ballater. Great atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly service. Everything was well prepared and presented, and we really enjoyed our meal. A cozy and welcoming place — definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ballater!

I've eaten breakfast twice here during a short stay in Ballater. My scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection and the homemade granola bowl was delicious. Great coffee, friendly staff, good price. Roaring fire is a great addition on a frosty morning.

Lovely little lunch spot in Ballater. I had the soup and sandwich deal, and the portions were very generous. Deeply filled sandwiches and a fair sized bowl of soup. If I'm ever in Ballater again I'll be back.

We were on a quest for my mom to find coconut almond scones to no avail. The lovely ladies at Bothy said they would make them the following day!  We picked them up the next morning..fresh, warm and delicious .

A cafe with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered full cooked breakfast which was well cooked and very tasty. The coffee was sadly lacking - more like warm milk nWe got home made custard creams, something we’ve only had in Scotland - mega!
