Fantastic bar, restaurant, lounge and reception but the rooms are nowhere near as good as what I have praised. The room looks tired and bland. The bathroom looks like one from a hospital (I know as I have used one for two weeks myself). I can't understand why the room is like that when everywhere else looks brilliant. The food for breakfast is good and the evening meals are top class. I'm being kind with four stars as the rooms were so bad, but the rest is of a very high standard. I really and honestly feels like your in 2 different hotels.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch. Turned up after a lovely walk in the snow. Staff couldn't be more friendly or welcoming. Love the fact that they are dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Deeside Inn. The location is perfect. You can fish for salmon within a 5-minute drive and enjoy all the other Highland activities. The common areas were quaint and comfortable and the staff helpful. I took away one star for the dinner menu, which was for the most part mediocre. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee great, but the rest of the meals were spotty. I took away another star for the room. It was clean, but small and utilitarian. Adequate, but no charm. That said, I still enjoyed my stay there.

Lovely stay at the Deeside Inn. Room was small but suitable for an overnight stay. We had dinner when we arrive, we were surprised to see that the prices were cheaper than indicated online. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and the service staff were friendly and attentive. After dinner we enjoyed a quiet night in the lounge area as the bar was busy. Breakfast was included in the cost and we had the usual choice of hot and cold breakfasts. The hotel very welcoming and also dog friendly.
