This is a wonderful experience for us. It is hard to find an Indian restaurant of this quality out side of a place like London.nWe started with Papadam which come with sauces Delicious. We tried two appetizers the Padina Scallops and the Garlic Chicken Pure which was delicious. Then for main courses we did Butter Chicken and Cheesena Sang Lamb with spinach. The butter chicken was unique from what I was use to with coconut added to it. The Lamb was tender and my partner loved it. On the side we got pilau rice and fresh naan bread. The meal was fantastic!
Beautiful, authentic Indian food. I had the pleasure of staying in beautiful Ballater for four nights for work, and I went to Lochnagar every night for a takeaway to take back to my hotel. The food is so, so good and the staff are lovely. Every night, I was given a complimentary bottle of Tiger with my order, which was very much appreciated. I've worked in all parts of Scotland and it's very hard to find a decent, authentic curry house, but this place is unreal. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed
Super friendly staff and great food. I had the Chicken Tika Masala and it was the best I've ever had. My wife had the Tandor Chicken and loved it. The staff was so friendly, it was like we had run in to old friends. I would love to go back, but I live 3,000 miles away.
We booked for 7 pm and they made us wait for 15 minutes; which is understandable during busy hours. We got a seat at 7:15 pm. But then there was no one to take the order till 7:45 pm. We ordered butter chicken with garlic naan, seekh kebab, vegetable pakora and chicken tikka biryani. The vegetable pakora and seekh kebab were really good. But the butter chicken was not authentic and neither was the biryani. The worst being my girlfriend found a sharp piece of plastic in chicken biryani and almost ate it. This was really dangerous as many kids were also in the restaurant and the plastic could have been in their food instead. Never has this happened to us in our life especially at a place that claims to be such a good and licensed Indian restaurant. In their favor they did not charge us for the biryani but that's not the point. There should be some standards when they run a restaurant. The manager and the waiter also need to know how to handle the customers properly in general and in such scenarios.Complete let down of a situation and night.
Best curry I’ve ever had ! And Sharif was an excellent waiter so attentive and fun. That was a fantastic curry experience!
