We used to love dining here on our annual visits to Ballater. Sadly, it is no longer an evening restaurant, but we were delighted to find that it had recently re-opened, serving light breakfasts and lunches and excellent coffee. The bacon, cheese and tomato turnovers are delicious. The menu for light lunches and the selection of bakery items all looked wonderful. The room used for afternoon tea is one of the most unusual you will ever sit in and a must-visit if you possibly can.

So glad we found this place the coffee was amazing best coffee I had all weekend and I will definitely go back when I am back sadly I didn't have any food but it looked good so I will be trying it The next time! The staff were friendly and inside was nice and cosy
