Lovely venue and uplifting. Had a good lunch of mixed mushrooms to start and then Bloody Mary salmon fishcakes. Very tasty.
I've been to the Bosham Inn countless times from when I was a kid to now, where now take my kid there. It changed hands a couple of years back I believe and has been refurbished with a new menu and the food there now is fantastic. The pizzas and burgers are amazing and reasonable prices too. There is plenty of dining areas and has a great bar and outside seating area for the warmer months. Great place to take the kids or have a nice meal with friends and family.
Called in to make a booking and had good service , booked for Saturday evening for two. 1 hour before setting off i received a text asking if we had any allergies, great idea , but message unable to send , when we arrived i was told this never works , so what is the point of asking in the first place . We we given 2 sheets of paper with the menu , very poor as the writing was so small and the lighting at the table not working with bulbs broken it was difficult to read what was written . Service was very good , we had drinks and ordered the starters and they soon arrived . I had pate which was 1 piece of a french loaf and a small piece of pate and the odd gherkins , it looked good and tasted good but was very small and overpriced . My partner had the Prawns again a little disappointing, Main course , Pork belly my partner gave 9 out of 10 it was beautifully presented , i had the veg curry, this was very tasty but the portion size was small and for the cost disappointing. We both enjoyed the main and tried the desserts , not sure if these were made on the premises but appeared to be bought in . My partner had the fruit pavlova only shame was there was no fruit in it . Overall i rate it as a good evening with room for improvements, yes we enjoyed the food and the service, If these suggestions are taken on board i am sure i will give a better review next time . Rating 7 out of 10 . Value 5 out of 10
We visited recently for a birthday celebration! Large group of adults, children and a dog! The staff were all so accommodating! Special mention must go to our waitress Niamh who was fantastic! Meals were served quickly and were excellent! Nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much for making my birthday celebration so good! Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again when in the area.
Dog friendly, delicious food! Besides the confusion about the seating; as we just walked in and took a seat. I advise one awaits to be seated even if know one is available at time of arrival to seat you, wait! Waiter very friendly and understanding. Food is excellent with a great menu. Range of choices. As with the drinks
3.5/5 Food was really tasty, and the seating was nice, but the mains were lukewarm at best and stone cold by the end, which was a shame as it was very tasty otherwise. Chicken wings from the starter were also overcooked, as was the steak medium to well done instead of medium-rare as requested. Would go again, but these things would be on my mind
Dear Sir, Madame, It was a pleasure to be in your Pub. My sister in low, my fiance and I we had a pleasant experience Ours dinner was so tasty. Last time we had been there was 3 months a go and the service was unpleasant serve. The last experience definitely change my mind and I will come back to you're Pub and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Best wishes, Adrian-B.
The family had an excellent lunch there last Sunday. I had the roast pork which was beautiful. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. Others had roast beef and theirs was excellent as well. I am old fashioned, and was not keen on the meat being put on top of the roast potatoes, but I understand that is "fashionable" now!!!
The pub itself is in a great location with lots of parking Available. Inside the pud is very warm and welcoming with a nice bar and a lovely open fire. Overall, the menu was good for a pub with lots of options to choose from. The food was tasty and well priced !
Popped in on Sunday afternoon. Very busy and popular location. Lovely inside, warm and made to feel welcome, even we'd not booked. Able to accommodate our party of 2. Ordered roast dinners. Little disappointed in the turkey, most of the generous portion was fat.
