This is how it should be done. Proper pub food that is exceptionally tasty served by very friendly staff in a lovely old waterside pub. The location is ridiculously picturesque in the village of Bosham. The home made pies for us were the star of the show and the fish and chips deserves a special mention. The menu is extensive enough to satisfy most tastes and we hope to sample some more of it next time we come this way. Some very naughty but nice deserts as well. 10/10
Great food and lovely staff, ordered a small ploughman's, very good but couldn't eat it all. Healthy appetites recommended.
This hidden gem in Bosham, off the beaten track and one of our favourite places to visit, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is always the best too with such nice special menus including children's menu. The only negative is there are very rarely any tables free, but that shows the popularity and splendor of this place. Either book in advance or wait patiently for people to move on it's definitely worth the wait!! Thanks Anchor Bleu see you soon!!
Lovely little pub on the water! Definitely worth a visit especially when they are running their Pie & Pint offer over the autumn/winter months - always a vegetarian option which is great to see!
Busy lunchtime and felt like more staff needed behind the bar. However, all the staff were polite and friendly, food arrived quickly and was very tasty.
Had lunch up stairs, food was delicious, the young lady that served the table of four was flawless in every respect. The menu was very in keeping on the area, so lots of fantastic fish options. I ordered a jug of Pimms the bill four and drinks with three sweets was very reasonable. I lovely place to visit. Thank you for a nice experience
Beautiful pub! The food is absolutely superb!!! I can't stress that enough. Also, the staff are incredibly friendly and have always served with a smile. I wish I could give even more stars because this place is just the best and I highly highly recommend. Certainly coming back here!
Lovely place for y walk and meal afterwards good choice on menu
We visited The Anchor Bleu last Friday. We called in for lunch without a booking and was made to feel so welcome from the start. What a lovely pub. The food was delicious and we wished there were more pubs like this nearer home. The staff were all very friendly. Well done, it was a fantastic start to our weekend break.
