The Boathouse specialise in the good kind of gluttony: making indulgent burgers & pizza's that leave your fingers messy and your belly full.

The Boathouse was born from a love of great burgers, Neapolitan Pizza & Craft Beers!

With our gourmet burger toppings and quirky combinations, our burgers are anything but basic. We’re not satisfied with serving up plain patties. Served juicy and pink we’re committed to consistency but we don’t get too caught up with cutlery and table manners. This is good old fashioned, roll-up-your-sleevs-and-get-it-all-over-you-face-food.

We also take pride in delivering the best Neapolitan Pizza in Hull, thin & crispy is the order of the day with us, stonebaked with the best imported Italian toppings, again, slice it up & get it in your hands!

We constantly look for ways to deliver more than just a mouthful. Whether that’s through the size of our burger patties, or the finest, locally sourced ingredients that go into our burgers, you won't be disappointed.....xx

Nice cocktails and good service. Have only tried burgers and pizza from the menu but have been more than pleased on both occasions and finished the lot! The pizza especially was to my taste - with a crispy thin crust rather than a stodgy deep pan. Doesn't leave you bloated so you're still in the mood for a good night out. Perfect meeting point to go out on the Avenues.
We only stopped in on an evening for craft beer. We were very happy. Didn't try the food menu but it looks interesting. Nice atmosphere and a good showing from Brewdog if you enjoy their beers. Will pop back in when we are in the area.
Never before have I felt so compelled to write a review so urgently ... !! First of all, I must say that the two girls who looked after our table of five were courteous and looked after us well, bringing us decent food with very little wait. This review is not regarding the staff - they are to be commended I feel, as they are working for someone who does not know the meaning of 'courteous' ... Our evening meal was tainted by the sheer arrogance and rudeness of the owner/manager, and I come home to read many many comments and reviews about this individual stocky guy, beard, bald, wears a cap. A polite enquiry regarding the extreme level of the music was blown out of all proportion with an aggressive, rude, disrespectful and downright unbelievable exchange between this 'owner' and our table. The way he spoke us us was infuriating. I witnessed him having a similar 'exchange' with another disgruntled couple same complaint when they had just ordered food. My advice to everyone? Steer clear. Do not fund the owner's arrogance. To the owner? Work on your manner. Treat your customers with respect. Work on your relationships with your staff. And decide whether you are an eatery or a nightclub.
This place when it first opened used to be fantastic and had everything you could want from a Cocktail Bar / Restaurant. Great 241 cocktails, Great choice of burgers, pizzas and Anti Pasti dishes cooked to a good standard. However the past two times I'd gone here to eat they were going through a menu change and litrally had nothing i ordered in. This would have been fine but it happend on two occasions, months apart and I'd taken a group of friends each time only to be let down. I went back to this place after seeing plenty of tasty food been posted on Facebook so i thought id give it another go and take my partner for some food. Maybe they had stopped changing the menu, interior drinks and gone back to how it used to be. I'd gone for the all you can eat wings which was still advertised on the menu and on Facebook for that day but Yet again they were going through another menu change and i couldnt have the deal. Might just be bad timing. I ordered ribs instead they didnt have any in either, so we left and ate else where. This place should be great but the past three times iv been i was dissapointed. Stick with what works and keep it as it is!
Went on a Monday night so was quite definitely not complaining, can imagine it has an amazing atmosphere on a weekend. The food we had the pulled pork burger was amazing so was the halloumi would definitely recommend and will be going back.
I love it. I have been a few times and never been busy, not sure if a coincidence or it's that never gets packed. Anyway, I think that is a positive if you just want a few beers and a catch up with friends. Staff are nice and I like the deco
Went here for the first time yesterday as i heard it was supposed to be good. Went as a family ad some of us ordered pizzas and burgers. The pizzas were burnt around the edges and made the pizza look not appetizing at all and the burgers were burnt to a crisp underneath and they tasted burnt which made it worse. The service was slow, dont know why it wasnt busy. I was expecting better but unfortunately it didnt live up to our expections, we should've read previous reviews first as we wouldnt have gone there if we did with some reviews we have read. The place really needs TLC and better chef.
The member of staff took our drinks order and then took 20 to take our food order. When our food was brought out she didn't offer us anymore drinks or ask if we'd like anything else. We had to ask for cutlery three times and sauces. She didn't listen to what we asked for so had to keep making trips back and forth. Our food was extremely salty and when my friend politely told the manager it was salty, he asked us if we were from hull of which we replied that we are students here. He said it wasn't salt, it was chip spice, and that's what people in Hull want and we will get used to it, to which I replied we've been here for 4 years...We know what chip spice is. Poor service from the staff and a blatant dismissal of our complaint from the manager.
Although the drinks can be quite pricey, they are great, the food is good and the staff are very friendly. Great atmosphere and easier to chat than it used to be because more walls have been added and music isn't as loud
The food was really nice but I'm sure their menu is different on Deliveroo!? I got the mushroom burger which was lush, and I'd also definitely recommend their cocktails
