First time visiting this evening and was the best dining experience in years. Staff extremely attentive and knowledgeable on the menu, including how certain items on the menu are cooked, how they taste etc. Service very quick and consistent. The food was absolutely incredible on both presentation and taste, I was lost for words. Interior was very comfortable with a range of seating, atmosphere romantic and relaxing. Special mention to Paulo manager, presumably for looking after us so well for the entire evening and compliments to the chef for such lovely food. We will definitely be back soon.
Great atmosphere with very polite staff. The food we had was cooked to a good standard and great presentation. Very good value. Will return soon.
I had French onion soup followed by steak monte carlo and finished with crepe suzzette. The entire meal was beautiful, staff were friendly and professional. Very nice surroundings also. We shall be returning!
My second visit here and just as impressed as the first time. Food was excellent, decent portions and not over priced. The lamb shank was exceptional! Can't wait to go back.
We came here for a meal Saturday 11th dec 21. Super friendly staff . Fabulous food . Very lovely atmosphere felt like home . But unfortunately we had another visit Tuesday 1st march on a week night for my sisters birthday and sadly didn't get the same service. The one and only member of staff that seemed to be there didn't didn't even acknowledge we'd even walked in let alone ask if wed got a table. fair enough he was possibly short staffed, a nice hello be with you in a moment wouldn't of gone a miss. I walked over to say hi we've got a table under the name of lisa. Only to be looked at no reply . Hugh. Did the waiter speak any English I wandered . after what seemed like forever stood at the door, the waiter walked across to a table still no eye contact and pulled two tables apart . because he'd never asked I'd not been given the chance to say was for four people. Birthday girl was stuck in traffic . When I said sorry there is 4 of us he proceeded to put tables back together still no i contact . and walked off, after 10mins sat waiting he brought 2 menus My sister birthday girl then showed up and we sat looking at 2 menus between all four of us . 20mins later still no drinks or even asked if we wanted any . again if hed just said I'm sorry I'm extremely busy il be with you a.s.a.p we would of thought differently I walked across to the bar asking for more menus and asked if maybe we should order from the bar . He said il be across. Looking stressed. We all felt a little bit annoyed by his attitude an very stale manor did he think he was working in a mortuary? It rather Seemed like it . it sort of spoilt the night , my sister only booked there because of the lovely staff from December on my birthday so disappointed to say the least . I will add food was fabulous so compliments to the chef .the only reason for 4 stars.

I came here for the first time in ages with my mum and partner. We were warmly greeted by what I assume was the owner/manager. It was a Friday night and it soon started to get relatively busy. Our order was taken, my choice of pork with blue cheese for my main was promised to be particularly nice. My partner made her choice of some kind of vegetable stack for her main based on the fact it was supposed to be particularly garlicky. My mum chose the lamb for her's and expected the mint sauce to come with it. Our starters were nice, no complaints there. All 3 of our mains weren't as advertised, however. Mine was with a peppercorn sauce instead of blue cheese, my partner's had little to no garlic involved and no salad as stated and my mum's was missing the mint sauce. The waitress that brought over the food did so without much care for what we'd been given, no question as to whether we had everything we needed which we didn't and so we had no opportunity to say so. As I said, it did start to get busy around the time we sat down, so maybe they were a little overwhelmed that night but still, a little disappointing given the place's good local reputation.
What a gem this place is! The food was exceptional! I had chicken in a creamy tarragon sauce that was utterly delicious, so tender and tasty. And a mixed desert of creme brulee, chocolate pot, macaron and coffee really hit the spot too. A very attentive waitress and a lovely restaurant made the while experience one to repeat, and soon! Definitely recommended!
What a wonderful meal! I had been meaning to try this place for a long long time, and finally got round to it. They certainly did not disappoint! Great service, lovely decor and the food was divine! Highly recommended, I will definitely be coming back. xx
