The Boar's Head
"The Boars Head is situated on Capel Street in Dublin's market area. It is a traditional, old style Dublin pub with a Celtic feel. The atmosphere is relaxed and conversational with music playing in the background. There are two bar areas, the main bar as you enter and a lounge upstairs which can be booked for private parties. It is the ideal place to watch Live Sport in as it has two big screens and a great atmosphere on sporting days. Our barstaff are friendly and helpful and will give you a warm welcome as well as excellent service from the minute you walk in the door.Function Room"

Lovely typical Irish pub where you can feel the usual chilled and relaxed atmosphere you find in an Irish pub! Service is fast for pints we didn’t get the chance to try their food but is the perfect spot for afternoon drinks, also on a sunny day on the left side of it there are few tables where the sun hits until is setting so you can enjoy the sun until the very end while still being in the city! Highly recommended
Was really enjoying the atmosphere & music then it got even better when the bar maid told a bunch of premiership junkies it couldn't accommodate them. Top class!
We did not try the food, so we are not able to comment on taste. But it looks very good as it went by us. It was a Saturday afternoon around 4 pm when we arrived there. The Guinness was of great quality. Very relaxing atmosphere and was a good way to have a conversation without stretching the vocal cords. Great location to get around though on foot. Worth a try.
I had an amazing experience here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing time. I was lost in Dublin and two regular guests greeted me with a very warm Irish welcome, which made my whole trip. The bar environment is very friendly and diverse, with amazing people!
Small and cozy place… the sandwiches are very good.
They know how to pour a Guinness here in Ireland The vibes is nice, people are nice, beer is good. Recommended!
Didn’t have much photo aside from this boar’s head but place is great… great place to just sit talk and have a good chat… their service is pretty quick and their staffs usually checks time to time if you need anything.
Got off the Luas and it's the first pub we came across. First time here. Seating outside. We went upstairs and sat at the bar. The tables were full. Had a pint of Guinness and Smithwicks for €11.80. The barmaid was very friendly and we had some banter with her.
Nice low-key atmosphere with traditional Irish food.
Good pub food with great Irish pub atmosphere. If you are looking for a local rather than the tourist version this is the place.Food: 4/5
