I've eaten at Brunells during my stay many times and I had mixed experiences. Let's start by saying that it's not really cheap so you expect a certain level in the food which is not always up to the expectations. Avoid the deserts, very expensive for the low quality. Service good some days and bad other days. You can be served in 15 minutes or in 40 minutes. Overall it's ok the to eat there if you don't want to leave the hotel. I recommend fish and chips and the burger.
Great place for chill out. Ambience is great with low lights and chairs confy. As well as fire looks great. The dining area is split from the drinking one. There are screen to watch sports. Good bar and selection of drinks. The food price is average, for Ireland standards, as well as the quality. Service was a bit pushy, we were served snd let go within 30 minutes.
Good ambience.. with sports playing.. quick service. Menu was limited though. Food was delicious. They practice social distancing and staff was using masks. Wasn’t much crowded as they take just house guests I suppose.
Food is OK. Not great, just OK. Prices on high side. Service was terrible. I could provide numerous details, but let's face it, you're eating here because you're trapped waiting for a flight. Don't expect much, or maybe stroll to a different option nearby.
Visited in June 2017. Was only staying at hotel for one day so decided to grabbed some breakfast and later for dinner. Food was okay and atmosphere was good. Service was okay as well.
Not a great experience. The staff is often inattentive and standing at the bar talking amongst themselves. Multiple times I have stood at the entrance waiting to be seated, and was never acknowledged. I was only seated when I walked over to the group of employees and asked if it was self-seating. The menu is small, and while the food is good, there just isn’t much to choose from. The service is okay, at best, again the usual inattentive servers who are talking to the other staff behind the bar. Occasionally they will look up and walk around to see if anyone needs anything. Sometimes they are busy, and the servers are running around frantically trying to figure out who and what to serve. The atmosphere is.. okay. I feel like serving is a burden to the staff, and would honestly prefer to go anywhere else. This place is a last resort if you are staying in the hotel and have no other option. On that note, the room service is okay. The wait for the food is usually lengthy. On top of that, I have called the room service line multiple times only for no one to answer. Leaving me to wait and hopefully call back at a better time. Not the experience one expects at a Hilton Hotel, nor a restaurant that is trying to brand itself as upscale. Note to the owner and manager if you read this: you need to train your staff better, or hire more. I’ve never had worse service at a restaurant.
Waited half an hour for my order patiently.. After that i asked them about the status of my food and drink! And they said sorry we have not placed your order yet! Wow..!! And guess what they all were doing?? Chit chatting ONLY!
Food was lovely and service was great. Will definitely be back.
Extensive whiskey selection, including some that can only be found in Ireland. Menu was pretty short. The "Pizza Margarita" was listed to include "basil, oregano & mozzarella". As always, I'll let the picture do the talking.
We got drinks, but the food never turned up. We weren't charged for the drinks as a gesture of good will, so fair play there.Service: 1/5
