Great fish and chips bought here today while cycling by on long route, life saver! Flakey, moist fish in good batter, proper crispy fresh chips, super-friendly service and sparkling clean. Some older reviews surprisingly negative but looks like changed owners 4 months ago.

We found a deep fried cigarette end in our chips. The owner refused responsibility and refused a full refund. Absolutely disgusting and repulsive thing to have found in your food especially when your two children under 3 have eaten the same food. Imagine if it had been in their chips! The owners attitude about it was appalling and considering what we found was essentially a poisonous item it is no surprise we will never eat there again and would advise everybody else to avoid. 0 stars for this place.

Really disappointed fish and chips unfortunately. Chips were dry and tasted like they've been re fried. Fish is bland.
