Had stayed at another hotel nearby the night before, so it was nice to have a change of scenery at the blue bell. The staff were very welcoming and more than happy to go the extra mile for us when we had any questions. The room was well decorated, with a great bathroom and comfortable bedding. The downstairs bar and seating were all well decorated also - fantastic furniture and the evening atmosphere was comfortable with the cosy fireplaces and music playing. We also had a dinner meal at the restaurant, which had a newly launched menu on the day of our stay. The staff were enthusiastic about the food choices and we tried a dish from the starters, mains and also the dessert board so that we could try every dessert. Overall a fantastic stay with great hospitality and food. Will definitely keep the Blue Bell in mind for my next stay!

Nice menu. Lovely surroundings and very comfortable. The food lacks little touches.. no bread with chicken livers then I got some buttered white sliced!! No sauce with salmon an route. They did make some on request. Good wine list

Lovely comfortable pub/restaurant, stayed just night, beautiful room with a super king-size bed, very quiet. Good food and excellent service.

A delightful discovery! A gem tucked away in the countryside. Part of a high quality local food and drink group, the decor, ambiance and food were of a consistently high standard and although this was my first visit...it most certainly will not be my last!
