My son needed the toilet but the Men's toilet was out of order and the disabled toilet was locked. Also, the place is absolutely disgusting. The food wasn't that pleasant either.
Very good food nice and hot the bar was 3deep of people so just got a table used the food app came with in 18min value for money
Jacket potato was warm by the time you get to the end it was cold. Needs to be hot. The places needs a good clean as well. The staff were very nice and other than that no problems.
My mother in law & myself enjoyed a very nice breakfast on Tuesday 29th November no problem asking for a poached egg instead of fried . Excellent value for me . Staff were very helpful
Won't let me go below 1 star. We went in for breakfast and even if you take the quality of food with a pinch of salt, giving the vegans in our group non vegan butter, had a strop when we pointed out they got the order wrong and forgot one person entirely and if your going to take shots at a customer maybe do it out of ear shot. We were there for breakfast not a rowdy group on a hen night so maybe the utter disdain we were treated with wasn't necessary. Also who denies there is a table 4 .... like it's entire existence not that table 4 put in an order... that the table number 4 doesnt exist on this mortal plane. IT WAS NEXT TO TABLE 3 AND 5 BOTH STRANGLY DO EXIST. While running this by a friend he said he had a curry their once that was OK. May I wish others have his luck instead of ours.
We really liked it here! Food great, atmosphere fabulous, and staff helpful and friendly.
Lovely old building which invites you in to this friendly busy Wetherspoons. Service was quick using the table app and staff were very polite.Food as always in each chain is very good value for money with both our meals getting a free drink thrown in. Only negative was the downstairs decor it lacked the usual wow factor that you expect. The toilets were so much grander than the bar!!!!Well worth a visit thou!!!!!
Disgusting. Minimum staff. Building dirty. Reason no body cares. Cheap drinks but at price. NO SERVICE. The owner of this company deserves to fail. He has not accepted people attitudes have changed. We do want an experience that is welcoming. Value for money. Clean. Not what is being offered now. Alcohol drop in centre. Buildings he initially bought had history. Brilliant. To keep his business alive give service.
My friend & I visited The Crown Inn in Knaresborough today. The bar seemed a little under staffed but the waiters were excellent & very obliging. The food was also very good for both of us. I had arranged 3 coaches from around Knowsley & I noticed that many of the people were enjoying food in your pub. Sue Smith
Nice surroundings comfortable and usual wetherspoons value. Service was fast and pleasant
