Great menu, superb meal, lovingly sourced and prepared. Attentive but discreet service. Excellent wine in the heaviest bottle we've ever come across, despite what the manager believes. We really appreciate our evening with them after the day we've had. Only 4 stars because review site won't let us award 4.75 (mixed experience of the almost perfect pigeon starter)

Gorgeous meal as always....not as busy as usual so not so atmospheric...I suppose it could be the sign of our troubled time...!!!The only criticism is as always Ladies lou's are so inaccesible and after the long climb you wonder if it was worth it...only because if you gootta go you gotta go...!!!!
