WOW. Last minute decision to pop out for a meal. You have to try The Blaise Inn. Lovely welcoming atmosphere, the waiter was fantastic, the food...better than the meal at 1 York Place. Both starters and mains knocked our socks off! Perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. Definitely coming back here.
Went for dinner with friends recently and this pub has a lot of charm and a vibrant atmosphere and is clearly popular with the locals. All the food was prepared really well my plaice was cooked beautifully and the polenta fries are perfect although each dish lacked something to make it great. Pub food is getting better and better so it takes a lot to create a really memorable pub menu these days and unfortunately this wasn’t one of them yet but we enjoyed our evening all the same and the service was fantastic. Worth visiting because this pub is clearly loved by a lot of people and you can sense that as soon as you walk in.
Lovely gastro pub. Food is good but could be better. Prices are ok but £4 for 3 polenta chips or 3 slices of bread seems quite a lot. The rum raising cheesecake was delicious!
Food extremely good. Well cooked, tasty and well presented. Had the braised Rump which was very good, and wife said her Onglet Steak was very good too.nOnly downside was we waited about 25mins for our food but it could be that we were the first sitting for the evening, having booked a table for 6pm. All told it was a very nice meal out in a lovely Pub.
Grate traditional food, generous portions and most of all super friendly and attentive crew. Thanks for the love you put in everything you do
