We went for lunch after previously calling in for a drink and seeing how good the food was. We weren’t disappointed. Proper pub food and generous portions. You really feel you have had great value without losing quality. Staff could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Definitely going back. Thanks.

Been in here a few times and the experience has been great. But went down today and the daughter was working what a vile lady she is. Totally rude lazy foul attitude if I was you I wouldn't ask her for anything your get your head ripped off! Totally put us off such a shame won't be visiting again. And can imagine if they keep her there the pub will be empty soon!!

I visited here on a rainy Wednesday evening. It soon brightened up with the lovely greeting from the lady behind the bar. Big smile and very welcoming! We ordered fish and chips and fish pie with vegetables. She wanted chips too so we shared our meals. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. I was so impressed with the food and quick, friendly service, I forgot to take 'photos . Oh well, good reason to go back another time .
