What a beautiful hotel. The rooms are magnificent, the public rooms and bars are lovely, the grounds are amazing. Went for a wedding and every staff member was extremely attentive. Vegan food was excellent. Service was very good, even making up an extra dessert for someone. The only slight downside was the price of drinks at the bar...very expensive.
Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting. We attended a wedding recently and stayed the night of the wedding. The rooms were great, the service was exceptional and the wedding meal and breakfast were excellent. What stopped me giving it a 5 star rating was that they would not serve the lamb without mushroom sauce and the bar prices were extortionate to say the least.
We had our wedding here and it was perfect. Staff were amazing and helpful and no hitches. In particular, Gemma and Natalie and Mark French guy Master of Ceremonies were all fabulous. The wedding meal was delicious too. Perfect! Thank you all! A truly wonderful day... x Tracey and Hans
Visited the hotel for a meeting and I was very impressed with how professional and helpful the receptionist was. I asked her about the history of the place and she had literature waiting for me after my appointment. Beautiful building with stunning gardens that are dog friendly. I look forward to visiting again. Stunning place, highly recommend!
Staff were all wonderful. Just attended a beautiful wedding held here and every staff member I observed during our 24 hour visit were smiling, efficient, attentive and professional. Beautiful hotel and grounds and delicious food.Rooms: 5/5
Attended a wedding on 26th August 2022 and it was fabulous. Lovely staff, lovely food, perfect night's sleep. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful grounds to sit in in peace and quiet. Couldn't fault it.Rooms: 5/5
Didn't stay but visited as a guest.venue seemed very nice and food was good. The reason I have taken a star off is the barmen who were arguing and swearing at each other in full view and hearing of the guests. I accept it was very busy but that was not acceptable especially as it continued for at least an hour. Other than that it was a very nice place and well presented.
We had our wedding here on Sat 24th 2022 and it was the perfect day/evening. The grounds are beautiful and our guests couldn't get enough photos! The team at Buxted were also great, from Holly and Gemma, Duncan, the bar/service team and also our Master of Ceremonies - Mark. Big shout out to Mark who made the day extra special and our guests loved his energy, I would recommend this as venue 100% to any couples thinking where. to book their wedding - would also say to pay the extra to have exclusive access to the entire venue, we did this and it made it extra special.
Stayed here as part of a work related conference. Seems like a great place to go into the countryside if escaping is what you are looking for. It should be a great place for events.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful hotel with great service, very good showers and lovely beds. The grounds are also lovely. Make sure you wake up in time to have their hasbrowns - best I've had in an hotelRooms: 5/5
